Travel Itinerary

The journey kicks off early as participants gather at the departure point, form teams, and meet their scout leaders. The scenic drive to Latitude Resort, Kumrat offers breathtaking views of lush valleys, rivers, and winding mountain roads.

Upon arrival, participants settle into the resort, surrounded by Kumrat Valley’s serene beauty. The evening features an Ice-Breaking Night with team introductions, bonding games, and a detailed briefing of the exciting four-day schedule. A hearty dinner wraps up the day, energizing everyone for the adventure ahead.

Overnight Stay: Latitude Resort, Kumrat

The day starts with breakfast at Latitude Resort, followed by a mix of fun-learning sessions and light trekking through Kumrat’s scenic trails. Guided by experienced scout leaders, participants engage in:

  • Knots Training: Essential knots for camping, rescue, and survival.
  • Basics of Pioneering: Building small structures with ropes, poles, and teamwork.
  • Basics of First Aid: Equipping participants with critical first-aid skills.
  • Survival Tips: Staying safe in the wild, finding water, and building shelter.

The treks combine nature exploration with hands-on learning. After an eventful day, participants return to the resort to relax, reflect, and enjoy dinner.

Overnight Stay: Latitude Resort, Kumrat

After breakfast, participants focus on creativity, teamwork, and leadership by building their campsite with guidance from scout leaders. Teams work on:

  • Setting up tents with proper alignment.
  • Designing a boundary for safety and organization.
  • Building an outdoor luggage stand using pioneering skills.
  • Adding creative touches to enhance their campsite.

In the evening, teams compete in the Second Competition, preparing and cooking meals judged on creativity, taste, and teamwork. The day concludes with a lively bonfire and an “Open Night,” featuring skits, songs, and talent acts that foster camaraderie and fun.

Overnight Stay: Campsite

The final day starts with breakfast at the campsite, followed by a detailed inspection of campsites, evaluated on:

  • Cleanliness and Organization
  • Aesthetic Design
  • Overall Quality

Next, participants compete in Tug-of-War Matches, showcasing teamwork and spirit, culminating in a grand finale. After lunch, teams tackle Rolling Back the Campsites, ensuring efficient dismantling with no trace left behind.

In the evening, everyone returns to Latitude Resort for the final celebrations. Winners of competitions are announced, with flags and prizes awarded. The day concludes with a celebratory dinner, acoustic music, and an open mic, creating a reflective and joyous ending to the adventure.

Overnight Stay: Latitude Resort, Kumrat

After a refreshing breakfast at Latitude Resort, participants bid farewell to the stunning Kumrat Valley. The journey back to Islamabad is filled with shared memories, laughter, and new friendships forged during this Next Gen Scouts adventure.

Participants carry home not just souvenirs, but essential life skills, unforgettable experiences, and a stronger sense of teamwork and resilience, all curated seamlessly by Travan Pakistan.
