Welcome to Travan Pakistan (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing our website, making a booking, or engaging with our services, you agree to the following Terms & Policies. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Book & Payments

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking via bank transfer, Western Union, Remitly, Wise, Easypaisa, or JazzCash.
  • Full payment must be received before the trip begins:
  • 30 days in advance for retreats or extended custom trips.
  • 7 days in advance for regular custom trips.
  • Unauthorized changes may result in additional fees.

2. Eligibility

  • Bookings may only be made by individuals aged 18 or older.
  • Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Certain trips may have age, fitness, or skill requirements, which will be communicated in advance.

3. Accessibility

We welcome travelers of all abilities. If you have any mobility or accessibility needs, please notify us during the planning phase. We’ll assess feasibility and coordinate with our vendors to offer reasonable accommodations wherever possible.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Refunds are processed within 25 business days via the original payment method.
  • No partial refunds for early departure or unused services.
  • Force Majeure: In the event of natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, landslides, or road closures, Travan may reschedule or refund minus unrecoverable costs.

Vendor Refund Terms:

Some services (e.g. hotels, flights, vehicles) are booked through third-party vendors. Their cancellation and refund policies apply. Travan will issue client refunds only after vendor refunds or adjustments are received.

Travan Service Fee Policy:

Once a confirmed itinerary has been delivered, 15% of the total trip cost (from our standard 25% service fee) becomes non-refundable.

However, this amount may be credited toward a future booking, offering flexibility for rescheduling.

5. Changes & Amendments

  • Bookings can be modified up to 30 days before departure at no cost, subject to availability.
  • Changes within 30 days may incur administrative or supplier fees.
  • Travan reserves the right to modify itineraries due to safety, logistics, or vendor issues. Suitable alternatives will be provided.

6. Cancellation by TRAVAN

We may cancel bookings due to health, safety, or operational concerns. In such cases, clients will be offered a full refund or free rescheduling.
Travan is not responsible for additional costs such as flight bookings, visa fees, or incidentals.

7. Liability & Insurance

  • Clients are required to arrange comprehensive travel insurance covering medical needs, cancellations, accidents, and evacuations.
  • Travan is not liable for:
  • Lost or stolen personal belongings
  • Illness, injury, or accidents
  • Actions of third-party vendors or authorities
  • Risks arising from transportation or adventure activities

8. Travel Documents & Visas

  • Travelers are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, permits, and entry documentation.
  • Travan can offer guidance but does not provide official visa services or legal guarantees.

9. Safety & Conduct

  • Clients must follow all instructions from Travan guides, drivers, and vendors.
  • Disruptive, illegal, or culturally insensitive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Travan reserves the right to remove clients from the group without refund in the event of serious misconduct.

10. Group Travel Expectations

We foster respectful, inclusive environments across all group experiences. Clients are expected to:

  • Be punctual and cooperative
  • Respect cultural norms and fellow travelers
  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behavior

Violations may result in removal from the trip without refund or further recourse.

11. Health Requirements

  • Certain trips may require a basic level of physical fitness (e.g. trekking, high altitude).
  • Clients must disclose relevant medical conditions in advance.
  • Emergency care and associated costs are the client’s responsibility.

12. Communication & Digital Consent

  • All communication via WhatsApp, email, or digital forms constitutes valid consent for itinerary confirmations, amendments, and approvals.
  • Screenshots or verbal confirmations on digital platforms may be used as official reference records.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We collect personal data to facilitate your travel arrangements.
  • Data is shared only with necessary service partners and never sold.
  • Clients may receive occasional marketing updates, with the option to opt out anytime.

14. Third-Party Website Disclaimer

Our website may contain links to third-party platforms (e.g. payment gateways, booking engines).

We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of these external sites.

15. Intellectual Property

All text, visuals, and branding on our website, social media, and brochures are the intellectual property of Travan Pakistan.

Reproduction or unauthorized use is prohibited without written consent.

16. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

  • Report concerns immediately to your guide or via our official WhatsApp number during the trip.
  • Unresolved issues must be submitted in writing within 30 days of trip completion.
  • We aim to resolve disputes in good faith. All disputes are subject to Pakistani law.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms & Policies are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
  • Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Pakistani courts.

18. Policy Updates

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms & Policies without prior notice.
  • The latest version is always available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes agreement with the updated terms.
