Travel deeper into Upper Chitral, moving through dramatic canyons and fertile villages before stopping for lunch at Mastuj. Continue to Sorlaspur, the last major village before the trailheads, where you’ll settle into camp and prepare for the challenging alpine days ahead.
A short jeep ride takes you to the trail’s start. The trek begins with a steady climb through narrow valleys flanked by towering peaks. After continuous ascent, arrive at Bashkar Jinali, a pastoral meadow positioned at the confluence of two glacial streams. Enjoy a rewarding evening surrounded by rugged mountain energy.

Leaving the tree line behind, the trail steepens into rocky alpine terrain. The landscape shifts dramatically—green fades into grey stone, and peaks close in around you.
